This Firm and its lawyers have contributed both time and resources to various civic and charitable organizations. The Firm made a major contribution to the new Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in which a room is named for Rushton, Stakely, Johnston & Garrett. Members of the Firm serve on boards of directors of the Montgomery Symphony, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Boys and Girls Clubs, among others. There is also a program of annual giving to charities, including Brantwood Children's Home, Camp Sunshine, the Montgomery YMCA, The Salvation Army, The Family Guidance Center, The Lighthouse Center and a number of other charities.  Firm attorneys and staff deliver meals to the elderly twice a month as part of the "Meals on Wheels" program sponsored by the Montgomery Area Council on Aging.
